This past week has been pretty huge in the life of our oldest. Not only did he learn to swim by himself last week, but this past weekend he learned to ride a bike without training wheels! He turns 6 in 3 weeks, and his Daddy took him to pick out a bike for his birthday present. Saturday afternoon, he & his Dad came back from the bike store with the new present, and to my surprise he got on it and within minutes he was riding! Sunday afternoon, he was starting and stopping by himself and doing figure eights with ease. I guess it is like walking, crawling, or anything else - it will happen when they are good and ready. He is growing up quickly! We are proud of our little man.
