Happy Birthday Tommy!

Tommy turned 1! I guess he is a typical 4th child as it is now May 16, and I just now thought that it might be nice to post a blog about his big day! Although he is a firmly ingrained part of our family, unfortunately the milestones almost pass by without much fanfare. He didn't seem to care much about his birthday other than his balloon, which he thought was fun to use as a punching bag. And to celebrate, he took his first steps the week before his big day. Although he isn't quite walking on his own, he will walk fairly fast if you hold onto his hands, looking a bit like Frankenstein. He is a cutey, and I think we will keep him! Some notable things about Tommy:
1. His siblings have taken to call him Thomas B. or as CJ calls him, "Toma"
2. He loves his elephant lovey and likes to chew on his nose.
3. He prefers to feed himself and likes Mommy's milk above all else.
4. He likes to wave bye bye and can say Dada and Mama although we are sure he is saying a lot more. We just don't understand it!
5. He still doesn't like to sleep at night.
6. He is a happy baby & his brothers and sister love him as do his parents :)!
