Tommy is 8 months!

Tommy is 8 months old now! He is a spitting image of Scott Jr's baby pictures. He has a sweet disposition, and we are so thankful the Lord brought him to our family. His brothers & sister adore him and love to play with him or just let him sit next to them on the couch. He is a pretty easy baby except at night when he demands attention (we are working on that one!). We sometimes joke he has a jekyll and hyde personality because he is SO easy during the day. I think the more likely explanation is that he is just a little spoiled as the baby. He has 3 teeth on the top and 2 on the bottom. He just learned how to sit up on New Year's, and enjoys that he can sit by himself to play with his toys. He loves to grab things and will take whatever you have out of your hand, push it off the table, or even take earrings out of your ears if you are not paying attention. He especially likes to chew on paper if he can get his mouth on it. He likes to examine his hands, and I have caught him on numerous occasions just looking at his hands. What are these things for? He likes being toted around in Mommy's backpack especially and will be content for a couple hours like this. He loves drinking Mommy's milk and isn't too fond of solid food but usually eats cereal for breakfast and veggies for dinner. Overall, he is pretty easygoing except when he is hungry or tired. And he likes to babble, talk and smile to whoever will pay him attention. Happy 8 months, little Tommy!

8 months is a great age...especially if they aren't mobile yet! :) Tommy sounds like a joy!
